What you can do with SingleStore in Sylus
Sylus lets teams explore SingleStore data without writing SQL. Ask "What were transactions per minute during yesterday's peak?" or "Which customers grew usage fastest this month?" and get an answer or chart, with the SQL shown for review.
How the SingleStore integration works
SingleStore is MySQL wire-compatible, so Sylus connects with a standard connection string and a read-only user. It reads your databases and tables and queries the ones you select. It works with SingleStore Helios and self-managed deployments.
How to connect SingleStore to Sylus
You need a SingleStore user who can create users and grant privileges.
Create a user for Sylus and grant it SELECT on the databases you want to analyze.
In Sylus, add SingleStore as a data source, paste the connection string, and test the connection.
Select the databases and tables to include.
Connection string format: mysql://user:password@host:3306/dbname
