What you can do with MySQL in Sylus
Sylus puts an AI data analyst on your MySQL database. Ask "What was revenue by product category last month?" or "How many active users did we have each day this week?" and get an answer or chart, with the SQL shown for review. A good fit for e-commerce, SaaS, and operations teams.
How the MySQL integration works
Sylus connects with a MySQL connection string and a read-only user. It reads your databases and tables to understand the schema, then runs read-only queries on the tables you select. It works with self-hosted MySQL and managed services such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, Google Cloud SQL, and Azure Database for MySQL.
How to connect MySQL to Sylus
You need a MySQL user that can create users, or a DBA who can create one for you.
Create a MySQL user for Sylus and grant it SELECT on the databases you want to analyze.
In Sylus, add MySQL as a data source, paste the connection string, and test the connection.
Select the databases and tables to include.
Connection string format: mysql://user:password@host:3306/dbname
